Cherries have red-black skin that contains vitamin C, A, fiber and minerals.
This fruit grows well in the cold regions of Iran, including West Azerbaijan, Mazandaran and Alborz.

Cherries can be stored at 0-1°C and 85-95% relative humidity for 3 weeks.
A major part of this product is distributed inside Iran, and a part of it is exported by refrigerated containers to neighboring countries, especially the Persian Gulf (by sea), Russia, European Union countries, etc.
Among the properties of cherries, we can mention reducing the risk of heart diseases, improving memory, reducing muscle pains, regulating blood pressure and heart rate, and blood production. The consumption of this fruit is raw, jam, compote and tea.
