
Fresh persimmons
Dates are rich in vitamins A, E, C, B6 and minerals such as copper, manganese and magnesium.
This fruit is prepared in tropical regions such as Fars, Tehran and Central provinces and is packed in bulk and in baskets or containers.
Persimmons can be stored at a temperature of -1 to 0 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 85 to 90 percent for 30 to 75 days.
A major part of persimmon exports from Iran and some of it is carried out by refrigerated containers to neighboring countries, especially the Persian Gulf (by sea), Russia, European Union countries, etc.
The properties of this fruit include improving vision, lowering blood pressure, and improving the digestive system. Dates are consumed raw.
