Tangerine has an orange peel and mantle that contains vitamins A, C, D and mineral salts such as iron, phosphorus and calcium.

This fruit is prepared in tropical regions such as Fars, Khorasan, Kermanshah and Hormozgan provinces and packed in bulk and in baskets or containers.

Tangerines can be stored at a temperature of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 85 to 95% for 1 to 2 weeks.

A major part of this product is distributed inside Iran and some of it is exported by refrigerated containers to neighboring countries, especially the Persian Gulf (by sea), Russia, European Union countries, etc.

Among the benefits of tangerines, we can mention blood sugar control in diabetic patients, improving the digestive system and treating anemia.

Tangerines are used as raw fruit and smoothies.
